Purpose
The properties of Wilderness Trail shall be used to
promote the kingdom of God. Any or all of its facilities may be reserved for
recreation, enrichment, retreats, meetings, etc. Those who use any of the
facilities will conform to the policies as set forth in the bylaws.
Reservations
Reservations are made "first come, first served"
through contact with
Mary Brown, the
Director, who will notify the Chair of Trustees. Reservations not made at least
30 days before the desired date may be denied. Completed
reservation form
along with a $100 deposit is due prior to arrival. Deposit will be refunded for
cancellation if 14 day notice is given. If extensive cleaning or repairs are
necessary, deposit may not be refunded.

General Usage
-
Unlock gate and facilities as needed.
-
If using cabins, Adirondack, bathhouse, or
shelters, clean before leaving.

Take trash to the dump on Hwy. 603. If it is
closed, secure trash in bags and place inside the lodge near the door.

Open fires only in existing fire rings. Observe
burning bans during dry conditions. Extinguish before leaving.

No swimming in any of the ponds.
-
No use of the "Group Building Course" without
Staff supervision.

No motorbikes, ATVs, etc.
-
Pets only with prior approval. (No pets are
allowed during Wilderness Trail Events.)

If using the lodge, refer to the instructions
below. They are also posted inside the Lodge, near the kitchen.
When You Arrive at the Lodge...

Unlock doors as needed.

Sign in on log sheet (located on the wall near the
kitchen).

Turn on water heaters as needed (kitchen, boys'
bathroom, girls' bathroom). The breakers are located in the main distribution
panel in the left rear corner of the lodge (wooden door with an A-frame "roof"
on it). They are labeled on the panel (A, B, C).

Turn on the ice machine if needed. The switch is
on the back of the machine; it looks like a wall light switch.

When You Leave the Lodge...

Turn off the ice machine. The switch is on the
back of the machine. Unused ice may be left in the bin.

Turn off the water heaters (A, B, C). The
breakers are located in the main distribution panel in the left rear corner of
the lodge.

Clean the lodge as needed (bathrooms, kitchen,
etc.). Remove any perishable items from the refrigerator and elsewhere. DO
NOT leave any food. Collect all trash. Take the trash to the dump on Hwy.
603 (left out of the property; about 1/10 mile on left) if possible. If the
dump is closed, secure all trash bags and leave them inside the lodge near the
door.

Store all rocking chairs inside.

Sign out on log sheet.

Turn off all lights. Lock all doors. Lock the
gate.
