Waynesville Office / Alisa Brown, Executive Director

Alisa works out of Waynesville, NC year-round.  As the Executive Director, she handles fundraising, development, and administration.  The Waynesville Office is the primary mailing address for Wilderness Trail; if in doubt about where to write or call, dial up Waynesville and Alisa can direct you to the right place. Typically our Waynesville Office hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, although these hours change depending on our events and Alisa's travel schedule. 

Alisa is originally from St. Petersburg, FL and went on her first hike with Wilderness Trail in 2001 with the youth group from First UMC.  She served as one of WT's Hiking Staff from 2007 to 2009.  Alisa is a graduate of the University of Florida with a major in Anthropology and is currently working on her MBA from Western Carolina University. She enjoys being outdoors, a strong cup of coffee, and Tampa Bay Rays baseball.
